Crew downs Liverpool FC Reserves, 2-0

In the final match of its England preseason trip, the Crew defeated the Liverpool FC reserve squad, 2-0, Thursday (March 5) at the Reds’ academy site in Knowsley. Alejandro Moreno and Guillermo Barros Schelotto each tallied for the Black & Gold in the second half, ensuring that the Crew went undefeated during its UK excursion. The squad will depart England to return stateside tomorrow (March 6) and will enjoy the weekend off before conducting a training session on Monday (March 9) morning at a time and location to be determined. It will then depart again on Tuesday (March 10), for its final trip of the preseason, in Austin, Texas, where it will spend five days.

    Good result, but should not be overvalued…
    Mikel San Jose and Plessis are good ones but I still cant believe Robert Huth was a member of our squad in 2006.
